Punting this early in the summer can be quite tough — costs are inviting, but with so many unknowns and no form book to fall down, there are loads of nasty surprises lurking into scupper your acca.
I have gone for a Russo-Swedish treble; the Russian Premier League is still in its infancy, although the Swedish top-tier is well underway.
Starting in Russia, I have Rostov beating Krylya Sovetov.
Rostov are unbeaten in their opening four (winning two )–scoring at least 2 goals in every game–and I’m convinced they’ll beat a Krylya side who have lost three of the opening four, despite only playing the one game away.
My initial Swedish selection is Gothenburg ousting Falkenbergs.
The side are pushing for a European location, and just 1 defeat in their final 16 suggests they are well in their way; two home wins over the spin also sees them head into Monday’s clash in great shape.
Falkenbergs, on the other hand, have a dreadful off record, earning just two points from their eight across the street (conceding 10 in their past two).
I expect a more comfortable home win.
Finally I’ve a biggie, Orebro to beat Kalmar from home, priced in a massive 13/5.
Kalmar, who are in enormous relegation danger, have lost five of their last six games (the one exception being a 2-2 draw at home where the opponents have been down to ten men for half an hour), and should no way be favourites for this.
Orebro are a strong mid-table side with a strong away album — winning four of the past six on the street (both defeats at that time coming from top-five teams). In terms of worth, this is a excellent choice.
