Successful on his debut at Salisbury, Dutch Art’s son finished second supporting star juvenile Pinatubo in the Group Two Vintage Stakes at Goodwood.
The two-year-old rediscovered the winning course in a thrilling Group Three at Sandown at the end getting the better of the Kameko of Andrew Balding with just a nose.
Cox is in no rush to commit to Favorable’s next goal, but also the Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes and Darley Dewhurst Stakes are equally under consideration.
“We were quite pleased with the win at Sandown, and he’s come from this race ” stated the Lambourn-based coach.
“He’s got an entry to the Dewhurst and also the Royal Lodge, thus we’ll basically keep moving forward and keep an open mind.
“He is progressing well, and we’re happy he appears to have a lot of scope to enhance “
