We are just 3 matches to the 2019 year and UCLA fans understand that this effort will not end well for the Bruins. UCLA has dropped their first three games and has failed to pay the amount for those backing them into their college football picks.
Last week it was the high-octane attack of Oklahoma that scorched the Bruins’ defense and sent a defeat of UCLA.
The Bruins have scored exactly 14 points in all three of the matches which ranks them 127th in the nation in scoring, and while they are in the lowest third in passing (185.3 metres per game), in addition to rushing (78 yards per game).
Washington State enters Week 4 of the college soccer season ranked 19th in the country and enjoys the No. 1 air attack, averaging 476 yards passing a game, within the first three months of this year.
On the ground the Cougars have been far less prolific, averaging just 91 yards rushing per contest, which positions them 112th from the FBS. Washington State and the Houston Cougars struggled but was able to muster to get a 31-24 victory as road favorites week.
Senior quarterback Anthony Gordon pitched for 440 yards and three touchdowns, giving him his third successive 400-yard game of this year, also leading the Cougars 11th ranked scoring strike, setting up an average of 49.3 points per game.
The college football odds on this matchup, the best online sportsbooks at all, have installed Washington State as 18 1/2 into 19-point favorites and it is tough to argue with that spread. There is no doubt that Washington State has the weapons to blitz the UCLA secondary throughout the atmosphere while the Cougars’ defense can surely include the Bruins meager offensive attack….more just like a mild affront if we are being truthful.
The disparity in talent has increased , if the Cougars claimed a victory although these teams haven’t met since October of 2016.
There’ll be those that suggest UCLA will probably be engaged because this is a PAC-12 competition but what it is really, is a lopsided mismatch involving a group that will be mired in the muck of this PAC-12 basement versus a national competition vying for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
My only difficulty is that following dispatching Houston, FCS lightweight Northern Colorado, and New Mexico State, the Cougars have yet to confront a real danger.
But, I would argue that UCLA fits in that class, which explains the reason I’m like Washington State in my college football selections that Saturday, and you should too!
